Hand made in our wood workshop by Danny, using the beautiful offcuts of our own, home milled local timber.

Wall mounted (holes pre-drilled, screws supplied). A simple but brilliant design, made from a single piece of wood with a 3mm slot cut through the block into which you can slide any size and shape of knife.

Made of Oak.

The ruling majesty of the woods, the wise old oak holds a special place in our culture, history, and hearts. It is the second most common tree species in Britain and supports more life than any other native tree species in the UK (WoodlandTrust.org)

This timber came from a wind blown tree near Erwood in the wye valley. It displays beautiful medullary rays; naturally occurring makings formed by the cellular growth of the tree, but made visible by the particular way in which the timber is cut.
